October was such a busy month for me - planning 2 birthday parties (my father's surprise 70th and my son's 2nd birthday), my husband was out on business for 3 weeks, getting the kiddos ready for Halloween, Halloween parties at school...October truly flew on by.  But the leaves are falling and the air is getting crisper - Fall is finally here! As the seasons change, so do my skin needs and makeup routine. Here are my favorites for the moth of October: For makeup - I am loving the Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation .  This foundation is just as great as the original fluid Colorstay foundation.  The pigmentation is great - a little goes a long way.  I have found that the best way to apply this foundation is not with a brush or damp beauty blender, but rather with your fingers.  Somehow I don't know if it's the warmth of your fingers or what, but using your fingers to apply and blend out the foundation leaves a flawless finish just like using a brush or beauty bl...

Well it's that time of the month again - NO sillies...it's time for my favorites for this month!!  It's been a hot month and I've been trying to keep my makeup routine short and sweet, as well as light on my face.  I've also included non-makeup items too...I hope that you enjoy my favorites for the month of June! 1.  Sleek Rose Gold Blush - I love using this blush...it gives my cheeks that perfect rosey-glowy look.  It's not too over the top and yet not too light...it's been my perfect go-to summer blush color. 2.  Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer and Mineral Foundation - I have been using this duo this month as my everyday foundation routine.  LM tinted moisturizer is by far the best tinted moisturizer that I have tried - this TM has more coverage than others and I like to apply it with a foundation brush like my Sigma F60 .  I then buff on my LM mineral foundation over the TM with either my MAC 182 Buffer Brush or Real ...

I am not one for wearing nail polish on my nails.  For one, I get so annoyed if there is one chip in my polish that I have to take it off immediately.  Two, I never keep my nails long enough to make nail polish look good on them so I don't bother wearing polish on my nails (I need to keep my nails short so I don't scratch the little ones while man handling them!).  In any case, I always have my toe nails did and so I like to find awesome colors to show the adventurous side of me.  While reading another beauty blog, I read about her latest OPI haul and saw this awesome nail polish color called Just Spotted The Lizard.  It's a limited edition color from the Spider-Man Collection and it is absolutely gorgeous!  The color in the bottle is stunning - it has a duochrome effect, depending on how you look at your nails (or the bottle), the color changes on you.  It is goldish-greenish-bluish-tealish in color - it's truly beautif...
